All wardrobe should be clean, simple and basic. If you can, go shopping for
new wardrobe. You should look for whites and solids with no logos. If you use
existing wardrobe, do not bring anything with spots, stains, tears, wrinkles,
etc. All wardrobe must arrive at location clean and pressed, so pack
accordingly. Bring too
much - then bring some
more!
Wardrobe should be light, breezy and fun. Look for body-aware outfits. White
is the best color, but don't overlook bright pastels and other pretty solids.
Please try to bring clothes in each of the following categories -- again, NO
LOGOS!
Whites This is the most important category. Look for:
> Pretty white cotton dresses, long or short, preferably with full skirts.
These should be simple - nothing frilly.
> White blouses (different types - bring several) with white pants, shorts
or full skirts.
> White jeans with white tops, ranging in style from plain button-up types
to sexy tanks. (Bring lots of these.)
> White swimsuits - one- and two-piece (no logos!). These are very
important - bring as many of each as you can!
> Also bring white cover-ups, robes, towels, etc.
Make sure white tones match.
Naturals Look for clothes in natural fiber colors or khaki to
combine wlth white or colors.
Pastels These should be bright pastels - not too pale. Bring
blouses, shirts, pants and
shorts. Clean,
simple dresses with full skirts are great! Look for clean - but not tailored -
lines.
Bright Colors Same categories as pastels, but look for bright
or primary colors -- reds, yellows, greens, blues. etc.
Prints Solids are best, but small flower prints can work,
particularly on dresses.
Jeans Always bring blue jeans and cutoffs - several pairs.
Swimsuits In addition to white, look far one and two-piece
solid colors or bright pastels. Again, no logos! And bring lots!
Accessories Again, these should be simple and go with your
wardrobe. Bring shoes, socks,
belts, hats and
simple jewelry appropriate to your outfits. Shoes must be in new or excellent
condition.
Tennis Shoes You must have clean white tennis shoes or sneakers
with no logos!
Special If you are shooting golf, tennis, bicycling, or
anything that requires special wardrobe or cover, please bring these.
NO LOGOS PLEASE!!!!!!
The above categories are the most important, but if you have something you
really like that doesn't fall into one of these groups, bring it anyway.
MAKE-UP AND HAIR
Please come to the shoot with clean, natural, light make-up. Hair should be
simple and clean.
Bring what you need for make-up and hair touch-ups. Fingernails and toenails
must be manicured and have clear, natural, or no polish - no red nails!
Special note:
Please bring skin colored bras and panties in addition to white so they will
not show underneath your wardrobe. The best bra is "The Tee Shirt Bra"
sold by Cacique because it smooth and does not show lines. Victoria Secret also
has a version of the same bra. This very important, if we see the bra lines
through your top, or lumps, the bra will have to come off.
Please remember - the more effort you put into this list, the
better your shoot will be.
